VIDYA SHAHITHYA VIZHA IN HISTORY

A special programme call  VIDYA SHAHITHYA VIZHA is organized by the pradeshiya sabha second time  to felicitate 32 students who have got through the grade 5 scholarship examination held on 2007,and also 03 students who have got through the GCE(A/L) obtaining 03 A s examination held on 2007, at the newly built Public libraray  auditorium Karathivu .

Karathivu known as a educated Tamil village in the Amparai District, is to  get a facelift in the near future.

The newly formed dynamic Pradeshiya Sabha made all necessary arrangements to develop the Village with a help of Governement and NGOs.

 

This VIDYA SHAHITHYA VIZHA held on 13th of February 2008  WEDNESDAY at  3.00 p.m. under the chairmanship of Mr.N.Jeevarasa, Chairman pradeshiya sabha,Karathvu.

in very large scale. Students, guests ,parents, and well-wishers participated in the procession amidst sound of crackers.All students were garlanded and colourfull.

 

Mr. AJM. IRZAD ,ACLG,Amparai  was  the chief guest at the Sahithya ceremony,

 Mrs.Sulojanan Anantharajah, Additional Zonal Director of Education, Kalmunai and Dr.ALM.Ifthikar District Coordinator  FCM Amparai ,P.Sivaprahasam D.E.O.,Karathivu, S.Ruthran Manager Peoples Bank Karathivu ,Dr. Mrs.Pakeerathy Tamilvannan D.M.O. Karthivu.Dr.Nanthiny Ayurvedic Hospital, Karathivu were  the special guests. some distinguish guests were there.

 In the history of Karathivu division , this is the first time that many children passed in these examinations.

Mas,PUNNIYANESAN SAJINTH , a grade 5 student of Karathivu  R.K.M .Boys school. Who set the golden record  of 173 in the scholarship exam in karathivu.who delivered a speech.and Miss.MURUGESU KETHUJA . a G.C.E.(A/L) student of Karathivu Vipulanantha Central College who gained 03 A s in Biology stream, ranking 1st  in the Ampara Distict and also spoke. This was remarkable event of this vizha.

 

Mr.V.T.SAHADEVARAJAH well known Journalist who won several awards at the national and District level ,and National Sahithya artists from Karathivu was honoured with  award call VIDYA KALA SRI with golden shawl.
