15/02/2008 The newly built library was opened under the chairmanship of Mr.N.Jeevarasa, Chairman pradeshiya sabha, Karathivu.last Wednesday.
Mr.KEITH SMITH ,the Regional programme Manager USAID was the chief guest who cuts the ribbon and declared open the library.
Mr.N,Sutheskumar, and Miss,M,S,Vaany Nalaayiny from USAID AMPARAI were the special guests. AJM.IRZAD ,ACLG,Amparai , S.RAMAKRISHNAN , D.S., Karathivu, Dr,A.L.Farook MOH Karathivu, S.Rameshkumar member of library development committee ,R.Thirunavukkarasu Trustee, Nanthavana Pillayar Temple MM.Thahir Chairman Pradeshiya Sabha, Ninthavur, and some distinguish guests were welcomed.
Mr.N.Jeevarasa, Chairman, Eng. V.Krishnamoorthy. Vice Chairman swore golden shawl to Mr.KEITH SMITH and Mr.N,Sutheskumar respectively.
Students from karathivu division performed cultural events at the stage. They were distributed prizes by USAID officials,
